Elizabeth Julia Williams (nee Tress) 1921 - 2013 It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth (Betty) Williams announces her passing on Sunday October 13, 2013 at the age of 92 years.Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Ross in 1992, and by six brothers and four sisters.She was born in Spring Valley, Saskatchewan in 1921 to Josef and Anna Tress (nee Wagner).Elizabeth is survived by 3 sons, Cec (Bev), Denis (Heather), and Larry (Esther); 6 grandchildren, Belinda (Rick), Reston (Kim), Jennifer (Kevin), Cheryl (Jeff), Paul, and Neil; 2 great grandchildren, Joshua and Natalie; two brothers Frank (Regina) and Reinhold. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.In keeping with Elizabeth's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral. A simple graveside service in Calgary will take place on Saturday November 9, 2013 at 1 pm, Queens Park Cemetery, 3219 - 4 Street NW, Calgary Alberta. Reception to follow.If desired, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
