ELIZABETH (LIBBY)JORDAN, 74 LAKELAND - Elizabeth (Libby) Jordan, 74, went to be with Jesus and her beloved Bobby on April 22, 2010 from a ruptured aneurysm. A celebration of her life will be Monday, April 26, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church on Lake Morton in the chapel. The family will receive friends before the service. She was born in Arcadia, FL on July 22, 1935 to G.E. and Catherine Daye. She is predeceased by brothers Harold, Gus, Merle and Lamar Daye, and sister, Marie Melton. She is survived by daughter Brenda (Ward) Bradley of Tallahassee, son Alan (Cindy) Jordan of Lakeland, and son Kenny (Karen) Jordan of Lakeland. She leaves behind her most treasured nuggets of love - her grandchildren: Lauriel, Ariana and Corin Bradley; Chelsea and Chloe Jordan; and Allen Nelms. She also leaves behind her precious brother William Aldine Daye of Tennessee and all her many nieces and nephews who held such a special place in her heart. She will be remembered for her love for family and friends, laughter and life, finding good in the bad, dressing up frilly, dressing up silly and finding someone or something to take care of. She will be missed greatly as she and Bobby dance through eternity with their Savior. In lieu of flowers remember her fondly, and make a donation to a charity of your choice.
