ELIZABETH JOHNSON DAVIS, 85Homemaker WINTER HAVEN - Elizabeth Johnson Davis, 85, of Winter Haven died Thursday, March 20, 2008 at Palm Garden of Winter Haven due to bladder cancer. She was born on January 6, 1923 in Winter Haven, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents U.J. Johnson and Rosetta Johnson and her husband, the late Wesley Jerome Davis, Sr., Elizabeth and Wesley are survived by seven children: daughters: Leslie Perrotte, (Denis) of Tallahassee, Florida, Anita Davis Stephens of Sarasota, FL, Brenda Davis of Lakeland, FL, Grenea Davis Johnson of Lakeland, FL., Sons: Wesley J. Davis of Winter Haven, FL, Michael L. Davis (Debra) of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Wayne L. Davis (Sandra) of Lake Wales, FL, grandchildren: Renea Smith (Al) of Tampa, FL, Arthur Pla, Jr. of Raleigh, North Carolina, Ayanna Davis of Knoxville, Tennessee, Wesley Davis, IV of Knoxville, Tennessee, Davis Stephens, of Sarasota, FL, brothers: U.J. Johnson, Jr. (Thelma) of Winter Haven, FL, Richard Johnson (Rachel) of Winter Park, FL, sister: Franzena Hunt of Milan, Michigan; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Elizabeth was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 201 and Hurst Chapel Stewardess Board. Visitation will be on Friday, March 28, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hurst Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 875 Avenue "0" Northeast, Winter Haven, FL., 33881. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2008, 11:00 a.m. at Hurst Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church. Interment will be in Rolling Hills Cemetery, Winter Haven, Florida.
