Elizabeth Hardesty Wilson, 86, Bradenton, died Oct. 28, 2004. She was born May 30, 1918, in Honolulu and came to Manatee County in 1956 from Kessler Air Force Base in Mississippi. She was a school teacher and homemaker. She served on the board of directors of Manatee County Humane Society and was active in community service. She served in the U.S. Air Force as a major. She was a member of Palma Sola Presbyterian Church in Bradenton. Survivors include many loving friends. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, with a service to follow, at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Manatee Avenue Chapel. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va.
