HENDERSON, Elizabeth (Betty) Cameron August 23, 1929 - May 25, 2003 Betty Henderson of Fort Saskatchewan, AB passed away suddenly at the Fort Saskatchewan Health Centre with her family at her bedside. Betty was born in Glasgow, Scotland and moved to Fort Saskatchewan with her husband Bill and their two children in 1966. Betty worked many years at the Fort Saskatchewan Health Centre. Betty will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Her three grandchildren were her pride and joy and they will remember their "Nana" with love. Betty leaves to cherish her memory her son Bill (Doris); daughter Helen (Cal) French; grandchildren Jade, Billy and Jason; four step-grandchildren Travis, Melissa, Trevor and Chantel; three great-step-grandchildren; and a very special friend Lyanne Workman who Betty thought of as a daughter. She also leaves her sister Helen; brothers John (Marty) and Billy (Isabelle); sister-in-law Cathy (Andy); brother-in-law Alex; and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her husband Bill on January 6, 2003. Her parents and two brothers also predeceased her. Memorial Service will be held at the First United Church, 10409-100 Avenue, Fort Saskatchewan on May 30, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Ken De Man officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts in Betty's memory may be given to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 10985-124 St., NW, Edmonton, AB T5M 0H9.
