ELIZABETH "BETTY" ELAINE MORGAN VALPARAISO, IN FORMERLY LAKES OF THE FOUR SEASONS Elizabeth "Betty" Elaine Morgan, 90 of Valparaiso, formerly of Lakes of the Four Seasons, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013 at Rittenhouse. She was born April 9, 1922 in St. Joseph, MI to Earl and Winifred (Loshbough) Howorth and graduated from Hobart High School and Western Kentucky University. Her passion for teaching kept her at Merrillville Community Schools for 37 years, before retirement. Betty was a member of Town and Country Christian Church at Lakes of the Four Seasons. Her family was always her primary joy, followed by sewing, baking, ceramics and bowling. On June 28, 1945, she married D. Wayne Morgan, who preceded her in death in 1990. Survivors include their children: Dale (Debbie) Morgan of Crown Point, Bruce Morgan of Westville and Shirley (Marve) Boezeman of Valparaiso; brothers-in-law: Bill and Bob; sisters-in-law: Hazel and Wilma; grandchildren: Todd (Michelle), Melissa, Alex (Megan), Jeremy, Brian (Mary), Ryan (Kelly), Brian, Dustin, Kelli (Pat), Sabrina (Chris), Chris (Tiffany), Maddie and Nick; and 14 great grandchildren. In the sunset of her life, she found love with her special friend, Art Hasbargen. She was also preceded in death by a son, Larry; infant daughter, Elaine; brothers: Jack and Donald; sisters: Barbara and Mary; and brother, Donald. Visitation Tuesday from 3:00- 8:00 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. at Town and Country Christian Church, 7037 E. 117th Ave., Crown Point, IN with Pastor Tim Saco officiating with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Hobart.
