Elizabeth Ann Kadlec Age 68 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Wednesday March 2, 2005. Elizabeth was born March 6, 1936 in Elmira Heights, NY the daughter of the late Henry Joseph Kadlec and Mary Ellen Coakley Kadlec. She was a graduate of Thomas A. Edison High School Class of 1953. Elizabeth married her husband John Hugh Cox who pre-deceased her in 1972. Elizabeth dedicated her life to raising her four children and cherished the time spent with them and her grandchildren. She was a member of The National Ski Patrol in Old Forge, NY for several years and a communicant of St. Mary Our Mother Church in Horseheads, NY. Elizabeth was a retired employee and a member of I.B.E.W. at Westinghouse/IST in Horseheads, NY. Mrs. Cox was pre-deceased by her parents, her husband, and her sister-in-law Betty Cox Leach. Elizabeth is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Robert & Carol Cox of Saratoga Springs, NY and their children John Hugh Cox and Alexandria Renee Cox, Gregory & Betsy Cox of Honeoye Falls, NY and their children Sarah Lynn Cox and Hillary Grace Cox, Christopher & Holly Cox of Horseheads, NY and their children Emily Elizabeth Cox, Abilgail Rose Cox, and Jackson David Cox; daughter and son-in-law: Cynthia & Anthony Brown of Buffalo, NY and their children Morgan Gregory Brown and Rowan Jane Brown; sister: Joan Kadlec of Horseheads, NY; brother and sister-in-law: Vincent & Judy Kadlec of Big Flats, NY and their children Michael Kadlec and Kelly Kadlec; brother-in-law: Ben Leach of Connecticut and his children Jeff Leach and Susan Leach; aunt Lillian Ford of Big Flats, NY; several cousins and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Lynch Funeral Home 318 West Broad Street Horseheads, NY on Friday March 4, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM . Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday March 5, 2005 at 9 AM at St. Mary Our Mother Church 816 West Broad St. & Westinghouse Road Horseheads, NY . The Rev. Christopher E. Linsler will be the Celebrant of Mrs. Cox's Funeral Mass. Interment in St. Mary Our Mother Cemetery in Horseheads, NY at the convenience of the family.
