Elizabeth ClementElizabeth Clement, age 67, of Athens, passed away Monday, July 22, 2013, at her residence. Mrs. Clement was born January 22, 1946, in Colbert County to John Thomas Shearon and Florrie Candler Shearon.Services will be Thursday, July 25, 2013, 1 p.m., at First Baptist Church in Tanner, Ala. with Keith Turberville and Clark Theriot officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Bethsaida Cemetery in Franklin County, Ala. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Mrs. Clement was a member of First Baptist Church in Tanner, enjoyed traveling and mission work.She was preceded in death by her husband, Ausie Clement Jr.; parents, John and Florrie Shearon.She is survived by three sons, Ausie Lee Clement and wife, Myra, of Tuscumbia, Ala., John M. Clement and wife, Christy, of Wetumpka, Ala., and Lawrence Wesley Clement and wife, Anne, of Lynnwood, Wash.; sister, Mary Catherine Shearon, of Wetumpka, Ala.; five grandchildren.
