She was a member of the Thornwood Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary, Rosary Altar Society of Holy Rosary Church,Columbiettes St.Dominic Council, Thornwood, N.Y. and The Mt. Pleasant Seniors. Elizabeth was predeceased by her devoted husband James Carroll in 1973, of which Carroll Park in Thornwood, N.Y. was named after. She is survived by her loving children; Robert (Dorothy) Carroll of Thornwood, N.Y., Richard (Peggy) Carroll of Fishkill, N.Y., James (Karen) Carroll of Thornwood, N.Y., Diane (John) Breslin of Vero Beach, Fla. and Beth Melagrano of Thornwood, N.Y. one sister, Dorothea Cotter of Fishkill, N.Y. Also survived by her fourteen cherished grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Holy Rosary Church, Hawthorne, N.Y. on Wednesday 10 AM. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
