AIKEN, S.C. - Answered God's call Sunday, November 27, 2005, Mrs. Elizabeth 'Gail' Beal Gunter of Aiken, beloved wife of Rev. James N. Gunter, Jr. and daughter to the late Eli Beal and the late Grace Mashburn Beal. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Debra Yon and her husband, Mark Yon of Graniteville, S.C., Darlene Lindsay and her husband, Randy Lindsay of New Ellenton, S.C. and Doris Gunter of Aiken; a son, J. Russell Gunter and his wife, Leslie of Graniteville, S.C.; three grandsons, Andrew Gunter, Zachary Gunter and Joshua Yon; one granddaughter, Shelly Yon and a brother William Dale 'Buddy' Beal of Gulf, N.C. She was born in Vass, N.C., but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Graniteville, S.C. The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. James Young officiating. The interment will follow in Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight, Tuesday, November 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Gunter will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
