ELIZABETH (BOTSFORD) BARRY SMITHformerly of BinghamtonElizabeth (Botsford) Barry Smith, of Cortland, formerly of Binghamton, passed away on March 8, 2001, at the Cortland Care Center. Elizabeth was predeceased by her beloved husband, Rev. Andrus B. Smith, in 1997. Survivors include her two daughters, Andrea Buer, Cortland, Betsy Smith, Johnson City; grandson, Stephen Andrus Buer, Atlanta, Ga.; granddaughter, Carol Elizabeth Buer, Ithaca; son-in-law, Richard Buer, Syracuse; sister-in-law, Ruth (Smith) Musson, Gilbertsville; sister-in-law, Mrs. William Thayer Barry, Jr., Hampton, N.H.; also several nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held at the Trinity Memorial Church, 44 Main St., Binghamton, N.Y. on Saturday, May 5, 2001, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Noreen Suriner officiating. Interment will be held in the Brookside Cemetery in Gilbertsville. The family will receive friends in the Church Hall immediately following the service. Those wishing may make memorial contributions in Elizabeth's name to the Trinity Memorial Church. Arrangements are by the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, Port Dickinson.
