Born in Montreal on December 9, 1938, Betty passed away peacefully on August 25, 2015, with family by her side, in Ottawa. She was the loving mother of Elizabeth Moreau (Michael Hewett) and adoring Nanny to Noah and Mirren, who were the lights of her life. She is also survived by her cousin and friend, Barbara Sharp Arpin. Betty was predeceased by her parents, John Hanley and Jean Sharp.
