Elizabeth Anne Butler Albuquerque, NM Beth, age 59, of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013, at her home, after a brief battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, Charles (Chuck); mother, Mary Getchell; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Karin, and their children, Connor and Elora; and brothers, Stephen, Matthew and Luke Getchell. A graduate of Whitesboro High School and long-time resident of Remsen, NY, Beth moved to NM to help care for her grandchildren in 2001. She nurtured children throughout her life and, in recent years, became a preschool teacher. She loved to read, observe nature and, most of all, spend time with family and friends. She will be deeply missed. A memorial wake will be held at her son's home on Sunday, May 26, from 1 to 5 PM. The wake is open to family and friends.
