EMERY, Elizabeth “Bessie“ Ann - At Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Monday, August 21, 2006, Elizabeth “Bessie“ Ann Emery, age 87, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Cyril Emery (1982). Born in Chatham on December 27, 1918, daughter of the late Marjorie McGee and Hugh Smyth, she worked in the treasury department of the City of Chatham for 26 years retiring in 1982. She will be sadly missed by: a step-daughter Mary Anne Cikota and her husband George, and a grandson Dan Cikota all of Michigan and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother Patrick Smyth and 3 sisters, Mary Robert, Margaret Doyle (2006) and Agnes Doyle. Friends and relatives may call at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham from 2- 4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday where Parish Prayers will be offered at 3 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, August 24th at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes' Church. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Donations to Ronald McDonald House would be appreciated.
