FINNER Elizabeth Ann "Liz" (Life member of Holy Name of Mary C.W.L.) Peacefully in Almonte Country Haven on Wednesday, March 3, 2004. "Liz" O'Donoghue of Almonte, age 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Hilary Finner. Dearly loved mother of Paul (Kathy) of Almonte, Bob (Lorna) of Renfrew, Elaine Smith (Arnie) of Blacks Corners, Maureen Cotten (Ross) of Perth, Joe of Almonte, Anne Boyd (Robert) of Carp, Nora Headley (Don) of Lindsay and Gerald of Almonte. Predeceased by an infant son; Terance and by 3 sisters; Margaret Darragh, Genevieve Oakley and Rev. Sister Eugene and by 4 brothers; Frank, James, John and Sylvester. Survived by 23 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and her 2 sisters-in-law; Mrs. dorothy Finner & Mrs. Helen O'Donoghue. Very dear friend of Florie Hourigan. Friends may call at the C.R. GAMBLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 127 Church Street, Almonte, for visiting on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. thence to Holy Name of Mary Church, Almonte for Celebration of the Eucharist at 11 a.m. Spring interment Holy Name of Mary Cemetery, Almonte. Donations in memory of Liz may be made to Holy Name of Mary Memorial Fund or Almonte Country Haven and would be most appreciated by her family. The Rosary will be prayed in the Chapel of the funeral home on Friday afternoon at 1:45 p.m. The family wish to sincerely thank the staff of Almonte Country Haven for their excellent care and kindness to their mom over the years.
