ADAMS _ Elizabeth "Jean" 1910 - 2002 Elizabeth "Jean" Adams (nee McGill) passed away peacefully at the Bethany Care Centre, Cochrane, AB, on December 23, 2002 at the age of 92 years. Jean was born and raised in Calgary and resided here most of her life. Prior to her marriage to Art Adams in 1933, she attended the University of Alberta in Edmonton, where she studied music. Jean will be remembered by those who knew her as a good friend and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by seven children, Ann Lang and Audrey Shandro of Penticton, BC, Peter (Laura) Adams of Beaverlodge, AB, Rosemary (Larry) Stiff of Penticton, BC, Jim (Diane) Adams of Calgary, Don (Faith) Adams of Nakusp, BC, Linda Adams of Calgary; sixteen grandchildren and thirty-six great-grandchildren. Jean was predeceased by her husband Art in 1967. We do not mourn her death, but rejoice in the many years we shared her life. Jean spent her final years in the Bethany Care Centre in Cochrane, and her family wish to express their appreciation to the staff, past and present, for the kind and loving care she received.
