Wilson, Elizabeth A. ALBANY Elizabeth A. "Betty" Wilson, 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 25, 2014. Betty was born in Albany, the daughter of the late William and Marion McCarthy Carr. She lived there all her life. She was a communicant for many years of the Parish of Mater Christi and the former St. Catherine of Siena Church. She enjoyed the movies and keeping up with Hollywood, as well as maintaining her own home. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Charles E.J. Wilson. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles E. and Tamara Wilson of Saratoga Springs; her grandchildren, David, Brian and Valerie Joy Wilson; and by three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany, on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Kenneth J. Doyle presiding. Relatives and friends are invited, and may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment will be held privately.
