McKenna, Elizabeth A. RAVENA Elizabeth A. McKenna, 79, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2014 after a long illness. Betty was born and lived most of her life in Boonton, N.J. She was employed for many years at the Boonton J J Newberry's where she was known as "Ms. Newberry." Betty moved to Ravena in 1996 to be with her sister. She was an active member of Senior Projects of Ravena. Survivors include her sister, Gayle Carlton of Ravena; her brother, Robert (Janet) McKenna of Florida; nephews, Gary Carlton of Ravena and Jeffrey Carlton of Pennsylvania; a niece, Maureen Feland of New Jersey; three great-nieces, Becky, Stevie and Katie; and two great-nephews, Jacob and Jeremy. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena. Contributions in memory of Elizabeth may be made to Senior Projects of Ravena, 9 Bruno Blvd., Ravena, NY 12143.
