Eleanor Smith, 88, died March 28, 2008, at her son's home in Stuart. She was born in St. Louis, Mo., and lived on Singer Island in Riviera Beach for 45 years. Before retirement, she was a homemaker and worked as a drug store clerk. Before marriage she had been a clothing model for Famous-Barr in St. Louis. Survivors include her sons, Douglas Smith of Wellington and Ira D. Smith Jr. of Stuart; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira D. Smith Sr. Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Rural School Garden Project, c/o Hope Rural School, 15929 S.W. 150th St., Indiantown, FL 34956. SERVICES: A private celebration of life will occur at a later date. Arrangements are by All County Funeral Home & Crematory Treasure Coast Chapel.
