DOVER ; Eleanor A. (Hendrickson) Peters, 82, of Dover, died Monday, April 7, 2008, at Rochester Manor Nursing Home after a period of failing health.She was born in Dover on April 14, 1925, the daughter of Lawrence P. and Helen M. (Wendell) Hendrickson. Raised and educated in Dover, she had graduated from Dover High School and had also attended UNH.She was the owner of Little Rascals Kindergarten & Nursery School on Portland Avenue in Dover for many years, which brought her great joy. She had worked as a school bus driver in Dover and had also worked for the State of New Hampshire as a toll attendant.Eleanor leaves behind her family, Francis and Tom Mulligan (two children and three grandchildren), Candace Peters and Tom (two children and six grandchildren), Debra and Dan LePage Sr. (two children and two grandchildren), Cathy and Bill Boulanger (two children and one grandchild), Walter E. Peters III and Suni (three children), Lisa Peters and Larry (three children and three grandchildren), Robert and Suanne Peters (two children.)Eleanor was predeceased by her husband, Walter E. "Pete" Peters Jr. in 1983. Sister, Catherine Fortier and brother, Lawrence Hendrickson also predeceased her.Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, April 11, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave., in Dover. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 12 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Church (at the corner of Chestnut and Third streets) in Dover. Cremation will follow and burial in New St. Mary's Cemetery in Dover will take place at the convenience of the family.Eleanor's family requests family flowers only.
