WATERFORD - Eleanor M. Gilboe, formerly of VanSchoonhoven Square Apartments, died suddenly Friday, January 14, 2005, at Saratoga Hospital. Born in Waterford she was the daughter of the late Alcide and Marie Hebert Johnson.She was a graduate of Keveny Memorial Academy in Cohoes. Eleanor was retired from the former M. Nirenburg Sons Shirt Co. in Troy, prior to that she had been employed at Cluett Peabody & Co. and National Automotive Fiber Co. She is survived by her daughters Mary Beth Gilboe of Cohoes and Catherine Gilboe Gonzalez of Troy; her grandchildren Marisa Ledesma-Gilboe of New York City and Kennedy A. Gonzalez of Troy. A niece, Eileen Johnson of Clifton Park, also survives as well as several grandnieces and nephews. A memorial Mass will be offered on Monday morning at 9:30 at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Waterford. At Eleanor's request, there will be no viewing hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mohawk and Hudson River Humane Society in care of the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St., Waterford, NY 12188
