HALL--Eleanor Williams, died of a cerebral hemorrhage in Bellevue, WA on June 22, 2013 at the age of 90. Eleanor was born on January 30, 1923 in Boston, MA and graduated from Radcliffe College in 1944. She joined American Express Company in New York in 1951 where she worked until her retirement in 1983. She was one of the Company's first women to attain officer rank and held a number of senior positions, most recently in marketing and public relations with the Company's international banking subsidiary. A woman of elegant appearance, she is widely remembered for her consistently high standards of literary expression, accuracy and style.
