Eleanor Hobson Davis, 86, of Foothills Presbyterian Home, formerly of the Augusta Road area, died Dec. 2, 2001. She was born in Townville and raised in Belton. She was the daughter of the late Dr. William Maxwell Hobson and Grace Routh Hobson, and widow of Ted R. Davis. She retired from Radio Station WQOK, was a former officer of the Dahlia Club and a longtime volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Surviving are a daughter, Dale Davis, of New York City, N.Y.; brothers, W.M. Hobson of Wilkesboro, N.C., and Dr. Harvey Hobson of Clemson; a grandson, Ted W. Davis Jr., of Greenville; and four nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Ted W. Davis Sr. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church, Harper Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at The Mackey Mortuary, 311 Century Drive. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 200 W.
