Eleanor G. Cox. 84, Sarasota, and formerly of Bradenton, died Sept. 17, 2003. She was born May 25, 1919, in Newark, N.J., and came to Sarasota six months ago from Bradenton. She was a homemaker. She was a former Girl Scout leader. She was past matron of Eastern Star 4, a life member of DAV 11 Auxiliary in Clearwater, and a member of First Assembly of God in Belleview. Survivors include daughters Tanya Stickley and Judith A. Azar, both of Sarasota; sisters Mae McConnell of Newark, N.J., and Lyla Weller of Bradenton; and two grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Take Stock in Children (Manatee County School Foundation), P.O.
