ROSS, Eleanor Christine 1936 - 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Ross Sunday, April 17th, 2011 Eleanor died quickly, peacefully and painlessly. She leaves behind her sister, Ann Rector, her western Canada family members, and a plethora of friends, colleagues, neighbours - all kindred spirits in all walks of life, from all around the world - who shared her love of life. Heartfelt thanks to the neurosurgical team at Toronto Western Hospital and the palliative care team at Princess Margaret Hospital for the exceptional care of and respectful consideration to Eleanor who daily voiced her determination to live to the day, right to the end. An eloquent speaker, a superb organizer with a keen interest in the stories of all those who crossed her path, Eleanor leaves behind a legacy for all who knew her - to do what you believe in, do it now and make a difference to others, along the way. Eleanor will be sorely missed by all who loved her dearly. A Celebration for Eleanor's Life is planned for early summer - to be announced later.
