Funeral services are scheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007, at Flowery Branch Baptist Church for Eleanor Bagwell Williams, age 93, of Flowery Branch. The Rev. Carl Radford and the Rev. Paul Wade will officiate. Burial will be in Broadlawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Williams will lie in state at the church from 3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. The family will receive friends from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, at the funeral home. Mrs. Williams was born in Forsyth County, but lived most of her life in Hall County and was the daughter of the late James and Terrie Bagwell. She worked for the Chestatee Regional Library during the 1970s and 1980s and was affectionately known as the "Bookmobile Lady." Mrs. Williams was a member of Flowery Branch Baptist Church for 79 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Virgil "Barefoot" Williams; grandson, Marc Williams; son-in-law, Irvin Peck; brother, Clarence Bagwell; and sister, Leona Waldrip. Survivors include her daughter, Theresa Peck, Dacula; daughter and son-in-law, Wilma and Hannie Conner, Flowery Branch; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenny and Kathy Williams, Lee's Summit, Mo., Phillip and Jane Williams, Flowery Branch, and Roger and Darlene Williams, Flowery Branch; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and sisters-in-law, Ada Bagwell and Agnes Mathis In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center 2150 Limestone Parkway, Gainesville, 30501; or Eagle Ranch P.O. Box 7200, Chestnut Mountain 30502-0500.
