Elder Ruby Davis - SAVANNAH -Elder Ruby Davis, age 79, passed away on October 8, 2007 after a short illness. She lived in Savannah for the past 39 years. She was employed by Holiday Inn as well as the Golden Age Center. Elder Davis was a Sunday School teacher and a member of the National Presbyterian Board. She was the assistant Pastor to the former Bishop O. Harden, 1982-1994. She leaves to cherish her memories: one son, James Davis; six daughters, Rene Putney, Millie Washington (Luther), Gloria Reynolds, Brenda Allen (Leroy), Jackie Harper (Daryl), and Sandra Alexander (Robert); a brother, Emanuel Daniels (Sue); sister-in-law, Hattie Williams; one hundred and six grands and great grands; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
