ANDERSON Elayne Mary (nee Tranchina), 82 passed away on December 9, 2011 at The Valley Hospital, Ridgewood, NJ. Born in Manhattan, NY, she lived in the Bronx as a child and later moved to New Jersey where she married on 2/14/1953 and ultimately resided in River Vale, NJ for 52 years. Elayne also spent her summers in Alfred, ME at Bunganut Lake Camping Area and the winter months in Outdoor Resorts in Melbourne Beach, FL. Elayne enjoyed needlework, knitting and crocheting and loved to teach her craft to others. She especially enjoyed spending time with family. She is predeceased by her parents, Evelyn and Joseph Tranchina and her sister Margaret Vantine. Beloved Wife of Kenneth G. Anderson. Loving Mother of Kenneth G. Anderson Jr. and his wife Marcia of Scotch Plains, NJ and Kathleen L. Georgens and her husband Thomas of Danville, CA and Kimberly A. Dolan and her husband Christopher of Westwood, NJ. Cherished Grandmother to Michael Anderson, Monica Mann and her husband Greg, Matthew Anderson, Martin Anderson, Lauren Brown, Daniel Brown, Michelle Georgens, Kelly Georgens, Alexander Georgens, Evelyn Dolan and Christopher Dolan. Funeral from the Becker Funeral Home, www.becker-funeralhome.com, 219 Kinderkamack Rd., Westwood on Tuesday 9 AM with 10 AM funeral mass at St. Andrew's Church, Westwood, NJ. Interment to follow in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting hours are on Sunday 3-6 PM and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
