NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - A Memorial Service for Mrs. Elaine M. Johnson, 65, of Crestlyn Drive, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest September 8, 2009, will be conducted Sunday, September 20, 2009, at 4 o'clock from Christ Church Unity, 2301 Central Avenue, Augusta, GA. Rev. Sheryl Padgett and Rev. Lola Andrews officiating. Mrs. Johnson was a native of Rochester, New York, having made the North Augusta area her home for the past 36 years. She was a member of Christ Church Unity, an Educator and the Author of the book "Courage to Recover" which was published in 1988. Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Leighton R. Johnson, III; two daughters, Ann Marie Hall, Pink Hill, NC and Heather Elizabeth Greene, Belvedere; two brothers, Robert F. Sepe, Cary, NC and Eugene Sepe, Severna Park, MD; four grandchildren, Savannah, Timia, Sasha and Yuri. Memorials may be made to The Hope House, P.O. Box 3597, Augusta, GA 30914.
