Elaine Jackson, 52, of Athens, passed away on July 7, 2014.Survivors include her children, Johnny and Tinana Johnson, Lamario and Joshua Jackson, Julius Rakestraw, and Jessie Norman; mother, Cula Jackson; siblings, Joann Jackson, James Jackson, Eddie Jackson, and Shirley Browning; and 18 grandchildren.Viewing will be from 1 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, at the funeral home.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 11, at Barber's Creek Baptist Church, Statham, with interment in the church cemetery. Jackson-McWhorter Funeral Home, Athens, is in charge of the arrangements.
