MOBILE Eileen Parks Davis, age 86, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, died Jan. 24, 2008, in Birmingham. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, 2008. The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral Mass at the church.She is preceded in death by her husband, John C. Davis, and her parents, James F. and Hilda C. Parks.Mrs. Davis is survived by one son, Thomas P. Davis of Tuscaloosa; and one daughter, Jane C. Davis of Birmingham. She is also survived by Donna M. Barnes, Lucy Carlin Barnes, and Lia Clair Barnes; Karl P. Keller, Sr., Karl Peter Keller, K. Parker Keller, and Emily E. Keller, and many cousins.She retired in June 1987 after serving as the secretary in the Guidance Office at McGill Institute and McGill-Toolen High School. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Mrs. Davis was the leading lady of the first Order of Stripers Ball. She was a 1938 graduate of Murphy High School.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Catherine of Sienna Church, 2605 Springhill Ave., Mobile, AL 36607; the Brother James and Brother Fidelis Scholarship at McGill-Toolen Catholic High School, c/o Brothers of the Sacred Heart, 2609 Springhill Ave., Mobile, AL 36607; or the charity of one's choice.
