Peacefully in St. Catharines, on Tuesday, October 7, 2003, Eileen passed away in her eighty-eighth year. She will be sadly missed by her children Peter Turner and his wife Gussy of Dunham, Quebec, Timothy Turner and his wife Barbara Potts of Ottawa and Martha Turner and her husband Lawrence Peebles of St. Catharines. Eileen's grandchildren Benjamin, Patrick, Amy, Alexander, Matthew and Geoffrey Turner and Charles Peebles have fond memories of their grandmother. She is survived by her brother David Johnson and his wife Marilyn of Beaconsfield, Quebec. She is predeceased by her husbands Charles Norwood Turner (1961) and Ernest T.E. Griffith (1979). A private family service will be held in Montreal. Interment to follow at Mount Royal Cemetery.
