Eileen Frances Mitchell-Brown made her transition on Oct. 22, 2013. The celebration of her life will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at the Whigham Funeral Home, 580 Dr. Martin L. King Jr. Blvd., Newark, N.J. Interment is at Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside, N.J. Visitation is on Monday from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Mrs. Mitchell-Brown was born in Newark, and was a resident of North Brunswick, N.J. She was the beloved wife of Raymond C. Brown; loving mother of Kelee Ann Mitchell-Hall (Clarence), and Raymond C. Brown II and his wife; daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy Ward; dear sister of Edward, Valerie and Glenn Ward, Barbara Jackson, Karen Apwah and JoAnn Glasco; grandmother of five grandcildren; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
