Martin, Eileen Anne Colligan ALBANY Eileen Anne Colligan Martin passed away peacefully at the Teresian House on Saturday, December 20, 2014. Eileen was born in Albany. She is the daughter of the late Bernard A. and Helen Buchanan Colligan. Eileen is predeceased by her beloved husband of 41 years, John E. Martin (Jack). She is the sister of the late Bernard M. Colligan (Marie). Eileen is survived by her loving and devoted nephews, Bernard Colligan of Rochester, Michael Colligan of Colonie and John Colligan of Brunswick; and a niece, Theresa Lyons of Pennsylvania. Eileen attended St. James School and graduated from The Vincentian Institute. She was a medical secretary in the Albany area for many years. Eileen and Jack lived in Delmar and enjoyed ten wonderful years together in Naples, Fla. The Colligan family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Teresian House, The Carmelite Sisters and especially to the staff of Eileen's 6B Neighborhood. Words cannot convey our appreciation for the extraordinary loving and compassionate care, our Aunt Eileen received, helping her to complete her journey here on earth. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 10 a.m. at the Teresian House Infant of Prague Chapel, 200 Washington Ave. Ext., Albany, NY 12203. A calling hour to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of service at the Teresian House. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Eileen's memory to the Teresian House, 200 Washington Ave. Ext., Albany, NY 12203.
