MINOR, Effie Louise (nee Brown) - Effie Louise of Port Colborne passed away on Friday June 15, 2007 at the Port Colborne General Hospital at the age of 85 years. Loving mother of Janet Thompson and her husband Clayton of Collingwood, Rex Minor and his wife Mary of Port Colborne, Greg Minor and his wife Chantelle of Port Colborne, Brian Minor of B.C. and Tim Minor of Port Colborne. Proud nanny of Christopher Thompson, Shawna Thompson, Russell Minor, Carrie-Ann Nasso, Kristi Lawrence, Michael Minor and Nicole Minor. She will also be sadly missed by her many great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur (Ray) Minor (1999), Son Kenneth Minor (1997) and her 12 brothers and sisters. At Mrs. Minor's request, cremation has taken place. There will be a private service in Oakwood Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory of Mrs. Minor may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation.
