Edward T. Clark, (ret. Det. BPD) age 73, passed away peacefully at his home, in the company of his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Friday, Aug. 13. Born in Boston, he grew up in So. Boston and lived in Milton for many years, prior to his move to VT 18 years ago. A retired 20 year Boston Police Officer of the Drug Control Unit at Police Headquarters, Det. Clark was a late member of K of C, Bethel, VT, the Emerald Society, a proud member of the NRA, as well as a U.S. Army veteran. The beloved husband of Catherine E. (Bernat) Clark of Chelsea, VT, he is also survived by his devoted children; Edward T. Jr. and his wife Tricia of Middleboro, Kenneth and his friend Teri Camandona, Paul and his wife Linda, all of Weymouth and Robert Clark of Dorchester, his loving grandchildren; Edward, Andrew and Patrick of Middleboro, Kenneth and Stephanie and Alison, Matthew and Gregory Clark, all of Weymouth and his sisters, Barbara Keenan and Bernadette Reynolds, both of Quincy. He was the brother of the late John J. and Richard W. Clark. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agatha Church, Milton, Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours will be held at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Tuesday 4 to 8 p.m. Interment private.
