McCormack, EdwardEdward McCormack, age 59, of Bridgeport, passed away suddenly on November 12, 2014. He was born in Bridgeport on July 5, 1955 and attended St. Peter's Elementary School, Notre Dame High School in Fairfield, and the Connecticut School of Electronics. The son of the late John and Helen Chilinski McCormack, Edward is survived by his loving daughter, Jocelyn Sherwood, of Beacon Falls; Jocelyn's mother and loving companion, Paula Zuber, of Beacon Falls; step-mother, Helen McCormack, of Clermont, FL, formerly of Milford; two brothers, John McCormack, and his wife, Kathy, of Fairfield, and their two daughters, Kaitlyn and Caroline McCormack, and Joseph McCormack, of Bridgeport; a step-sister, Janice Kondor, and her husband, Donald, of Clermont, FL; and a niece and nephew, Amanda and Seth Kondor, of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by his beloved cat, Ziggy. Ed was an avid Giants and Mets fan and could always be found watching a Giants' game or tailgating at a Yale Football game. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, playing the drums, or listening to his vast collection of rock music. Ed especially enjoyed spending time with his daughter, Joci, who was his pride and joy. He was employed by Newport Corporation in Stratford for several years. Ed will be missed but not forgotten by all who knew him. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 3-7 PM in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. A prayer service will take place at 6:00 PM.
