Edward "Ed" Lee, 37, Crawfordsville, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2011, at his home.He was born on July 10, 1973 in Birmingham, Ala. He was a graduate of Southmont High School and Ivy Tech with an associate's degree in drafting. He worked for Deckard Engineering and was most recently with Myler Church Services. He was a member of ABATE.Survivors include his mother, Kim Stokes, Monticello; a sister, Misty Dawn Smelser, Noblesville; a niece; his dog and best friend Grunzen.He was preceded in death by his grandparents.Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville. Services will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Nate Pyle officiating.Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Bedford Cemetery, east of Monon.Memorials may be made to the Home for Friendless Animals, P.O.
