LEE, Edward "Ed" Roy Sept. 7, 1943 - Sept. 30, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce Ed's passing on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the age of 67. Ed left us peacefully after a difficult and courageous battle with cancer these past six months. Predeceased by his father Andy, he will be sadly missed by his mother Sadie, his former wife, devoted friend and caregiver Marg Lee; daughters Joanne Lee and Cheryl Geofroy (Richard), his brother David (Janice), his grandchildren Nicholas, Mackenzie, Anthony and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A long time Bell employee, Ed loved socializing, was devoted to his work and we will especially miss his keen wit, sharp intellect and his gourmet family BBQ's. Sincere thanks to CCAC and in particular Tasma at Carefor for her kindness. Family will receive friends at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre (2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa) on Monday, October 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 5 in the Pinecrest Chapel at 11 a.m. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
