HENDERSON, Dr. Edward "Ted", Of Welland, peacefully, at the Niagara Health System, Welland Site, on Wednesday, June 30, 2004 at the age of 76 years. Cherished husband for 53 years to Isobel Henderson (nee Murray). Beloved father of Charles Henderson (Sandy), Jane Kurchak (Dan), Karen Maddalena (Dino) and Judy D'Angelo (Louie), all of Welland. Devoted grandfather to Jaime, Sarah, Lisa, Angelo, D.J., Julia, and Andrea. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Edwar d & Georgia Henderson and sister Betty Lambert. Born in Welland, Dr. Henderson remained a lifelong and productive member of this community. A graduate of Welland High and the University of Toronto in Dentistry, Dr. Henderson began his dental practice in Welland 50 years ago. Besides his practice, he was a Dental Consultant and teacher at Niagara College from 1968 to 2002. In 1993, Dr. Henderson received the Niagara College Presidents Award. In 2004, he received not only the Welland & District De ntal Society Recognition Award, but also the Community Service Recognition Award from the Ontario Dental Association. Dr. Henderson was a Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International, a Past President of the Welland Rotary Club and a member of th e Ontario Dental Association for 50 years and Holy Trinity Anglican Church. Friends are invited to visit the family on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the H.L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME, 241 West Main Street, Welland. Reverend Dan Bennett will conduct the fu neral service at Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Saturday, July 3rd at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
