23-09-1923 to 12-12-2011 Edward Elie passed away at the age of 88 at the Royal Victoria Hospital Monday night. He was in the exceptional and loving care of the transitional unit on S7w, and we cannot thank them enough.He is survived by his wife Terry; his son Douglas and daughter-in law Joy; his three granddaughters Stephanie, Christine, and Caroline; his sister Victoria; his brother John and sister-in-law Kathy; his nephews Daniel, Mark and Mike, their wives and children.He had a wonderful life and much love around him. Many illnesses at the end of his life made his passing Monday night a blessing.The family asks that donations in lieu of flowers be made to the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation, in memory of Edward Elie, for the benefit of the Surgical 7w Transitional Unit.The viewing is Thursday 7 to 9 pm at Urgel Bourgie at 1255 Beaumont in TMR. A prayer service will be held Friday at noon, also at Urgel Bourgie, followed by a mercy meal.
