WINFIELD Edra Faye Smith, age 84, of Winfield, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2007. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Miles Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Old Union Cemetery with Miles Funeral Home of Winfield directing. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.Survivors include her daughter, Brenda (Dennis) Moore of Winfield; grandson, Randy (Tracie) Moore of Winfield; great-grandchildren, Colton and Nikki Moore; brother, James Lowell Fowler of Chesterfield, Mo.; nieces, nephews and other relatives.Mrs. Smith was born in Fayette County and was a resident of Pickens County for most of her life. She has resided in Winfield since 1983, and was a graduate of Winfield High School and Florence State Teachers College. She retired as a teacher from Carrollton High School. She was the widow of Paul V. Smith and a member of Winfield First Baptist Church.
