Edna Hammond Rogers, 77, of 23 Black St., widow of Tommie Rogers, died Friday, May 14, 2004, at Anderson Area Medical Center. Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late James Fleming and Laura Woodring Hammond. She was a homemaker and was a member of Bethel Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith. Surviving are a daughter, Martha Patterson, of Williamston; sons, Michael Rogers, of Williamston, and Mark Rogers, of Belton; sisters, Nellie Bryson, of Piedmont, and Dot Stephens, of Anderson; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Gray Mortuary Chapel, Pelzer, conducted by Pastor Alan Cain. Burial will follow at Guthrie Grove Church Cemetery. The family members are at their respective homes, and will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
