Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.Mrs. Jordan passed away Monday, July 11, 2011, at Parkway Medical Center. She was retired from Parisian Department Store in Decatur. She was a charter member of Vestavia Hills Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years and was responsible for leading many children to the Lord. She was involved in many ministries including children's ministries and UAB Townhouse. Her parents, Green Wesley Etheredge and Sadie May Etheredge, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Thomas D. Jordan; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.www.roselawnfhandcemetery.com
