Edna Mae Gist Fisher Wright, 78, Muscle Shoals, Ala., died Friday, June 8, 2001.Visitation was Saturday, June 9, 2001, from 6 till 9 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral was Sunday, June 10, 2001, at 2 p.m. at Vandiver Hollow Baptist Church, with burial in the adjoining cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m.Officiating at the funeral will be Billy George and Neil Blaxton.Mrs. Wright was a Colbert County native and a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James H. Fisher; son, Charlie Fisher; granddaughter, Charlotte Fisher; parents, Elmer and Katherine Gist; and second husband, Walter Wright.She is survived by her sons, John Fisher and wife, Annie Lee, of Russellville, Earl Fisher and wife, Dorothy, of Tuscumbia, Claude Fisher and wife, Susan, of Tuscumbia, Billy Fisher and wife, Shirley, of Angleton, Texas, and Gene Fisher and wife, Tammy, of Muscle Shoals; daughters, Pearl Stonecipher and husband, Liles, of Tuscumbia, Louise Daniel and husband, Bill, of Tuscumbia, Rosie Wright and husband, Bobby, of Leighton, Cathy Smith and husband, Lanny, of Tuscumbia, Joyce Coggins and husband, Danny, of Muscle Shoals; stepdaughter, Sula and husband, Clyde Fisher, Muscle Shoals; 33 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Ricky Wright, Dan Coggins, Brock Fisher, Terry Stonecipher, Dusty Daniel and Howard Fisher.
