EDNA MAE (LEE) BELL VALPARAISO, IN Edna Mae (Lee) Bell, 84, of Morgan Township, Valparaiso, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013. She was born June 24, 1929 in Crogar, Oklahoma to Walter Scott and Mattie (Beaver) Lee. Edna was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Kouts. She had worked at McGill Manufacturing and in the Housekeeping Department at Valparaiso University, and was active at the Banta Senior Center. On June 22, 1968 at the First Presbyterian Church in Kouts Edna married Paul Bell, who preceded her in death in 1994. She is survived by one daughter, Bonnie (Tom) Hannon of Kouts; four grandchildren: Tami Hannon (John) Lodics, Kevin Thomas (Marla) Hannon, Trisha Hannon (Troy) Smith, and Kelly Hannon (Alex) Barge; eight great grandchildren: Marie, Michelle, Lucas and Sam Lodics, Evan and Cameron Smith, Jonah and Cora Barge; two brothers: Doyle Lee of Hudson, OH and Raymond (Peggy) Lee of Yuma, AZ. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Jean Meinders Gibbs; and one sister, Irene Lee Rittel. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Kosanke Funeral Home, 105 E. Indiana Ave., Kouts with Pastor Ed Fabrici officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso. Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
