Edna Grubb, a resident of Alterra Sterling House, Palm Coast, died Monday, May 23, 2005, on her 98th birthday. Mrs. Grubb was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., and moved from Altoona, Pa., to Ormond Beach in 1968 with her husband, Harry (deceased). She was active in the Ormond Beach Republican Club for many years serving as secretary and a longtime volunteer with Meals on Wheels. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Ormond Beach for 35 years before moving to Palm Coast. She enjoyed her family and friends and playing cards. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Lysinger and son-in-law, Bill, Palm Coast; three grandchildren, Ross Lysinger, Hilton Head, S.C., Robin L. Graham, Cordova, Tenn., Richard Lysinger, Atlanta; and two great-grandchildren, Dillon and Brynn Lysinger, Hilton Head. Memorial donations may be made to Palm Coast United Methodist Church, 5200 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32164 or Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. Volusia Memorial, Ormond Beach, is in charge of arrangements.
