Mrs. Edna Lee Cribbs Hamilton - Guyton -Mrs. Edna Lee Cribbs Hamilton, 87, of Guyton, GA, died Friday, July 28, 2006 at Hospice, Savannah after a short illness. She was a native of Telfair County, Georgia having lived a number of years in Savannah, GA and Atlanta, GA, prior to moving to Effingham County, Georgia eight years ago. She was a member of North Peachtree Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA and she was a retired Certified Internal Auditor. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Franklin Hamilton, her son, Earl Simms and two grandchildren, Kim Schaffner and Paul LeDoux. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Marilyn and Joe Kenny of Guyton, GA and Joyce Arrington of McDonough, GA; one sister, Jeannette Wilson of Ellabell, GA; one brother, Billy Jack Cribbs of Moss Point, MS, seven grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday at Fountain Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in Hillcrest Abbey, East Cemetery, Savannah, GA.
