Edna Jones LeeHartselleFuneral for Edna Jones Lee, 93, of Hartselle will be Friday, May 9, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Lebanon Baptist Church with Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.Mrs. Lee, who died on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at Falkville Health Care Center, was born July 21, 1920, in Morgan County to Lawson Houston Jones and Bertha Waddell Jones. She was a longtime member of Lebanon Baptist Church and a longtime member of Hopewell Homemakers Club. She was a member of the Self Country Cousins and the last surviving member of her family of origin. Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer "Sleepy" Lee; son, Ronald Timothy Lee; three brothers, Adrian, Houston and Edward Jones, two sisters, Earline Orr and Eloise Burns and her parents. Survivors include three sons, Rev. Donald Lee (Beth) of Daphne, Hal "Buster" Lee (Jane Ann) of Hartselle and Brad Lee (Roxie) of Birmingham; three daughters, Carolyn McClellan (Pete) of Hartselle, Myra Ann Bell (Richard) of Knoxville, TN and Genell Lee of Montgomery; 16 grandchildren, 23 great- grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be grandsons.
