HARRIS _ Edna Margaret Harris (nee Horton) October 27, 1933 - March 17, 2005 On Thursday, March 17, 2005 God called Edna home. Edna was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta; attending local schools until she graduated from Western Canada High. She married Gerry Hammerquist in 1953; together they had four girls. Gerry passed away in 1964. Edna married Rae Harris on December 3, 1971; together they turned two families into one. Rae and Edna have six children. Throughout her life, Edna was very active in the L.O.B.A., holding various positions, the most recent being Most Worshipful Past Grand Mistress of Canada. Rae and Edna spent many happy years vacationing in Arizona, where they enjoyed golfing and many fun-filled outings with friends and family. Edna will live on in the hearts of Rae, her husband of thirty-four years; her children, Dennis (Linda) Harris, Leslie (Bill) Currie, Cathy (Ray) Chaffee, Lenore Summers, Lorraine (Vern) Connell and Lisa (Daryl) Bourgon; her grandchildren, Cassandra, Stevin, Randy, Keltie, Caitlin, Jolynne, Cayla, Jenna, Matthew, Melissa (Shane), Jaimie, Brett, Lyndsie and Danielle; her brother Dave, her 5th L and her sister-in-law Pat. Waiting to welcome Edna home are her parents, Albert and Margaret Horton and her first husband Gerry Hammerquist.
